I worked at Diamond Trust Bank for more than a year
An equal opportunity employer. Gained lots of experience through continuous exposure
No cons were evident , very conducive work environment
I have been working at Diamond Trust Bank full-time for more than a year
– Focuses on gardening young talent, fresh graduates. – Invests on state of the art facilities to offer its customers best services. – Good working environment, nice offices neatly organized.
– Very little career growth unless you are a GMT, higher chance for a GMT to progress than a entry level employee with equal academic qualifications. – One year probation period. – Very little staff training on a professional level. – Meagre salary that only enables one to live from hand to mouth till next paycheck. – Unfriendly work culture, long working hours, very little team building events, high turnover making…
The management has a good vison for the company but invests poorly on its employees. Very high turnover not conducive for good working culture. Very poor management structure lack of coordination and poor flow of information from top management to staff on the ground.
I have been working at Diamond Trust Bank full-time for more than 5 years
There arent any real pros to talk about apart from the all important work experience.
Poor pay and non existent employee benefits, long commute from the Head Office to the CBD, poor work culture and working on Saturdays. Non competitive products and lack of employer sponsored training opportunities.
They can pay better, restructure their employee benefits and do away with working Saturdays for non-essential staff.
I worked at Diamond Trust Bank full-time for more than 3 years

the management trainee program exposes recent graduates to all departments in the organization, allowing a complete understanding and appreciation for the workings of the company. results oriented, interactive, fast paced work environment means you are working with the best talent
fast growth may mean that current employees are worked harder until more talent is recruited and trained industry standard in kenya means a relatively low salary, but among kenyan and east african firms diamond trust compensation is competitive
management should continue its course in expanding diamond trust into a continental bank as is the companys vision, because african markets are already labelled as emerging markets, and first mover advantages would secure diamond trust banks position as africas front runner in financial services
