The Black Swan Future Fund has a dual purpose of enabling us to create breathtaking original theatre that inspires audiences while building a strong financial foundation for the company to secure our future. Your donation to Black Swan Future Fund will enable us to:

We will create bold and adventurous theatre with the worlds leadings artists. Theatre that delights and inspires our audience.

We will build Black Swan into a developmental powerhouse, bringing to life epic theatre, that would otherwise not be seen on stage.

We will take theatre that speaks with our unique, Western Australian voice to audiences across our state, Australia and the world.

We will tour our work to other Australian cities and international arts festivals, building Black Swans reputation as a company that creates world class theatre, right here in WA.

Short-term, we will create new theatre that engages new audiences, increases box office income, tours nationally and internationally and inspires donors and sponsors to invest in Black Swan.

Long-term, the Future Fund will provide financial stability and secure our future, by investing donations into a fund that builds a strong financial reserve for Black Swan.

Your donation to the Black Swan Future Fund will have a ripple effect throughout WAs theatre sector, as local theatre makers and audiences experience theatre at its best.

Audiences will be inspired and challenged by exceptional theatre created by leading theatre makers. Local artists will be challenged and stretched as they work on bold, epic and ambitious theatre the scale of which is not often seen in Perth. WAs arts sector will benefit because there will be more employment opportunities created for local artists, and their skills will be developed as they work alongside the world best theatre makers.

We greatly acknowledge the inaugural major donors to the Fund, made at our 2017 Philanthropy Gala:

We thank Black Swans Philanthropy Committee who helped coordinate the Gala and all those who attended and donated.
